Wet N Wild Water Park

Orlando Water Parks

SeaWorld jumps into the Water Park business with Aquatica and water parks may never be the same. This colorful park mixes animals and water rides together and has been a big hit for families wanting to make a splash.

The feedback we have heard so far is, great for kids but for the thrill seeking crowd of teenagers and adults is can be disappointing. Overall, it is a great park and combines animals and fun only like SeaWorld can.

Two giant wave pools and a sandy beach
Dolphin Plunge sends you right into a bay with dolphins in it
Walhalla Wave and HooRoo Run are 6 story tall raft rides

Disney’s Water Parks, what can I say both are really fantastic and each has their own personality. Wave pools, fast slides 60 mph at Blizzard beach, lazy rivers, and visually a treat. Blizzard Beach often ranks in the Top 5 Water Parks in the World and Typhoon is very popular as well.

For families with kids under 12 we like Typhoon over Blizzard and if you are planning to visit be sure bring a cooler with drinks and snacks. It’s allowed!

Disney’s Blizzard Beach
Disney legend has it that after a freak winter storm blanketed the area with snow, Florida's first ski resort was born. When temperatures returned to normal, the powdery snow turned to slippery slush. Slalom courses, bobsled and toboggan runs became downhill waterslides. The chair lift carried swimmers instead of skiers. The ski jump became the tallest, fastest water slide in the nation. You are invited to what has become Disney's Blizzard Beach, the most slushy, slippery, exhilarating water park anywhere!

Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon
Disney legend has it that a furious storm once roared across the sea, hurling surfboards into trees, blowing small boats through roofs and impaling a shrimp boat on a peak of a great volcanic mountain. Left in the typhoon's wake are twisting tides, roaring rapids, wonderful waterways and relaxing rivers. Whether you are navigating the nine exhilarating waterslides and streams or conquering one of the world's largest artificially created waves, Typhoon Lagoon promises the most wild, wonderful and wet water adventure known to man or fish.

Wet ‘n Wild
wet and Wild is Orlando’s oldest water park yet continues to innovate by adding new rides and adjusting older rides so it is never the same ride twice.

Wet ‘n Wild is more like your standard water park and provides a variety of thrills. Their water rides tend to target adventure and thrill seekers and hit the teen and adult audience. The Surge, Disco H2O, Black Hole, Brain Wash, The Storm, The Flyer all provide fun twists and turns.

A unique feature at Wet ‘n Wild is the Wake Zone, which is a seasonal ride and is open from May – September, here you can Knee Ski, Wake Skate or be towed around the lake on big bouncy tubes.

Wet ‘n Wild is a fun park to cool off and have fun. This a is good water park but not a great one at it lacks a theme story. Their kiddie area is small but not as family friendly as other Orlando water parks.
